I’ll Go Anywhere With You

I close my eyes and I imagine the places we will wander—the sand we will let run through our fingertips, the cracked earth we will walk tenderly across, the rough bark of trees underneath our palms, the cool water that we will slip into slowly, soothing our tired legs.

I want to travel to the ends of the earth with you, walk and run and explore with a dizziness that makes us fall into our beds at the end of the night, so exhausted and so in love.

I want to go places with you, explore worlds with you, get lost with you.

I’ve always seen this world as incredible, from the majestic buildings and ruins to the tiny footprints of forest animals. I’ve always wanted to discover what lives in all the places I’ve never been, what treasures are waiting to be discovered, to be touched, to be loved.

I’ve always wanted to travel, arm-in-arm with the man I love.

So please, let’s follow wherever our feet long to wander. Let’s jump on trains and buy one-way airplane tickets. Let’s call up old friends and visit them across the country. Let’s get in the car and drive until our eyes are heavy.

Let’s go, my love, let’s go.

There are so many worlds still unexplored, so many bodies left to meet, so many kisses we haven’t yet pressed into each other’s lips in all these different spots around the world.

I want to hold your hand and walk with you through every beautiful country, take a picture with you in every breathtaking forest, kiss you under the stars in this sky that’s the same no matter where we end up, but feels so different, so magical in an uncharted place.

I want to run wild with you, feel fearless with you, be adventurous and young and uninhibited and free. I want this life to be ours—ours to discover, to treasure, to love as we love one another more and more every day.

So please, take me anywhere, and I’ll go. I’ll pack my bags, I’ll split the cost, I’ll make the plans and promise to keep you smiling, even when we’re tired. I’ll take the pictures; I’ll kiss you deeply; I’ll write our memories to life so we never forget.

I’ll willingly wander as long as I’m wandering with you.

So let’s go, my love, let’s go.
