Watch 'Pot Shop,' A Hilarious Parody Of Macklemore And Ryan Lewis' 'Thrift Shop'
Yale grad and stand-up comic Steve Berke, who once ran for mayor of Miami Beach (?), just dropped “Pot Shop,” a HILARIOUS parody of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ viral smash “Thrift Shop.” But it isn’t just a parody for the sake of it — there’s some real meaning behind the video, like let’s crack down on the war on pot, everyone!
You know, I’m so happy for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Those white dudes are really blowin’ up. They’re not newcomers by any means, but by now pretty much everybody is getting into them, and their “debut” album The Heist is doing really well. They even have the No.1 song on the iTunes singles chart, which is awesome. But in our generation, the real gauge of success is how many parodies of your song/video live on YouTube. Treat yourself to the two videos and compare for yourself. Like you needed any more reasons to smoke pot.
Answer phones better than anyone else has answered phones before. Relay messages so brilliant, they bring people to tears. Turn the coffee run into the choreography of Swan Lake. Become best friends with every intern and every underling and every taxi driver you encounter.

I remember taking the pen and notebook from that woman outside the courtroom, flipping to a clean page in the book, and writing, JESSICA IS SAD in big, bold, uncoordinated letters. “My sister is going to be a good writer someday! Look at how nice her lines are!”
To begin, I got totally screwed over in the dental genes department. I was born with a pretty severe overbite and a mouth that was too small.
If this doesn’t become the biggest video on the Internet, then I have no faith left in humanity.
