27 Men Who Took Back Their Cheating SO Share Why And Whether It Was Worth It Or Not

9. I Get Anxiety Now

Not one bit. She kept cheating and lying on me for an extra year. She ended up getting pregnant by a guy from our old high school in the military. She continued to cheat on me after the baby was born and he had came back from overseas. I found out not too long after the baby was born that he wasn’t mine and that’s when I cut things off for good. She tried to get back with me a few months later while she was dating a completely different guy. I get anxiety when I’m in relationships now.

10. Tried To Be Understanding

Regrets? Yes. Tried to be sensitive and understanding. Tried to focus on the years together. Turned out my SO was still sleeping with the other person.

11. I’ve Learned To Forgive

So far yes. I’m 24, I met my girlfriend senior year of high school when I was 17. She went to a 4 year college, I did not. Lets just say she had the “college experience”. After college we reconnected and are making it work. We are best friends and live with each other. I’ve learned to forgive and trust her again, but I’m not saying there aren’t moments where I second guess things. The only thing that worries me is myself. My dad was a “sex addict” when he got older. She is my first and only lay and I’m worried as I get older I might feel as if I “missed out”, the same way my dad felt.

12. Relief

Nope.

I resented her for the rest of the relationship and paid very little attention to her. She eventually broke it off with me cause I was being an inattentive jerk.

I was glad she did.
