You can’t plan when you fall in love, or when you get heartbroken. Love is not something that you can see coming. It could be right in front of you, or you could be looking in the wrong direction.

The truth is, you can’t let go of it completely. You can’t drink it away and forget all of it. You just can’t.

I’m done letting people walk all over me, and treat me like I’m just a scrap of meat. I am done letting a boy who I adore, mistreat me. I don’t deserve to see those shrugs anymore. I don’t deserve to hear “maybe”.

This isn’t giving up. This is working so hard to fight for something that is not there anymore. This is not throwing in the towel. This is loving yourself enough, to do this. Even if it breaks your heart too.

Don’t baby her. Don’t look at her with a worrying gaze every time she reaches her hand out to you. She isn’t broken. She isn’t mental. She’s only human.

For everyone that is telling their single friends that they need to start dating, please stop. We don’t need your opinion. We don’t need your free therapy. We don’t need therapy at all actually.

You aren’t crazy. You aren’t going to feel like this forever. You just miss the idea of it all. The idea of feeling wanted again. The idea of being loved. And he’s the only one who has done it so far.
