Today In Over 23 Countries You Can Pay For Your Coffee With A Poem

Today is International Poetry Day and in celebration Julius Meinl, a coffee company founded in 1862, is inspiring coffee drinkers everywhere to slow down and get inspired. In selected locations across the globe spanning 1,100 cafes, bars, and restaurants in Europe, the UK, the US, and Australia you can exchange a cup of coffee for a poem.

Although most participating cafes are in continental Europe, you can find out here if there are any establishments around you offering the exchange. Watch the video above to find out more about what inspired this.
