Recently Actress Anne Hathaway has been the subject of nasty headlines involving her weight, looks, and body after giving birth to Baby Boy Jonathan back in April.
Fed up with the media’s obsession with being thin and body shaming, Anne took to her Instagram to share not only an inspiring message to anyone who has ever felt pressure to look a certain way, but also delivered possibly the classiest “Fuck you” to the tabloids ever.

“There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever).
There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all).
There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs.
Bodies change.
Bodies grow.
Bodies shrink.
It’s all love

Anne is joining the many celebrity women like Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence, Renée Zellweger, Chrissy Teigen, and Jennifer Anniston who’ve recently spoken out about the unbelievable and ridiculous scrutiny they are subjected to as far as their looks are concerned. Hopefully this is another step in the right direction towards not giving a damn what someone looks like, and where we put merit into their actual actions instead of their dress size.
