George Bush Serves As Witness In Lesbian Marriage, Seriously

By

So he’s a Republican, he oversaw the US economy as President through the end of a pretty bad recession and during one of the most turbulent times in recent geopolitical history. Now, in his retirement, he and his wife are serving as witnesses, signature and all, in the same sex marriage of two of their close friends, Bonnie Clement and Helen Thorgalsen. Flabergasted? Well, it’s not this guy. What are you, crazy?

It’s this guy:

George HERBERT WALKER Bush is, of course, the younger’s father, a lifelong Episcopalian (a very mainstream Christian church that has an official same sex marriage rite), fiscal conservative, and all around not at all bad guy. His father was a Republican who “was involved with the American Birth Control League as early as 1942, served as the treasurer of the first national capital campaign of Planned Parenthood in 1947 and was also an early supporter of the United Negro College Fund, serving as chairman of the Connecticut branch in 1951.”

Sounds like one hell of a guy and one hell of a Conservative plus he was cleared of colluding with the Nazis during WW2, always a plus.

Kids, this is what most Republicans used to look like, basically exactly as Conservative as President Obama. Take note.
