This Guy Got An Email From President Trump About Healthcare, But He Sent It Back — With A Grade

By

In case you haven’t noticed, the United States is currently embroiled in a massive debate about healthcare. In 2010, the Obama Administration passed the The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which drastically altered the healthcare landscape. Among many other things, it expanded Medicaid coverage and offered tax credits to help the poor and middle class purchase health insurance.

Both of these provisions are now under threat by Trumpcare (aka The American Healthcare Act). This legislation threatens to freeze new Medicaid enrollment — eventually phasing the expansion out. It also promises to reduce the tax credits that working Americans rely on to afford health coverage. Worse still, the elimination of the individual mandate will send premiums and deductibles through the roof.

So understandably, Trumpcare has come under a bit of fire. That’s probably why Donald Trump’s White House recently sent out an email to shore up support for the plan:

Imgur user  got one of these emails. However, as he read over it, some errors quickly became apparent. And errors shouldn’t go uncorrected, right?

Roghar decided to step in and fix some of the mistakes for the good ole’ President:

And at the very end, President Trump even got a grade, and it wasn’t very good at all. A big, fat “F”.

“And after struggling my way through it, the spirit of my high-school teachers rose up inside me and drove me to give it the essay treatment. All in all, not a great showing from the team behind the President and by extension, himself,” Roghar said.

The graded email was returned to President Trump, but like the sheepish student who turns his graded test over on the desk without looking at the grade, Donald hasn’t responded yet:

Just another day in Trump’s America.
