29 Creepy Ass Phone Call Stories That Will Make You Toss And Turn Tonight

27. A strange woman attempted to seduce me

I was 13. Back then, me and my best friend spoke on the phone for hours all the time. On this one night, I had fallen asleep right after getting off the phone with my friend. The cordless phone was still next to my head when it rang around 1 in the morning.

I woke up and answered, only to be greeted by an unfamiliar adult female voice. She asked for someone and I told her she had the wrong number. She apologized and asked me who I was and how old I was. I gave her a fake name, but my real age. I had already started getting a creepy vibe from her when she asked, “Do you have a boyfriend?”. I said no. Then she asked, “Have you ever had sex with a woman?” Again, I said no and was thoroughly freaked out. It got worse when she asked, “Do you want to?”

I quickly hung up.

What made it even creepier was the sound of her voice. It started out normal enough. But when she began asking if I had a boyfriend or if I would want to have sex with a woman, her voice took on a more seductive tone. I never encountered another call like that since. I have no idea who she was, or why she would start getting all seductive and sexual with a 13 year old girl on the phone in the middle of the night.

28. A woman threatened us over her cat

Got a wrong number call from a lady who swore that someone named Mary stole her cat. (My name is not Mary.) The call went on and on in this raspy, angry tone that eventually escalated to threats if said cat was not returned. My husband and I kept the message for weeks and would often repeat the threats to each other–“If I don’t get my Roxy back, I’ll come and get her and it won’t be pretty!” “You’ll be sorry when I come get my cat back, you bitch!” I always wondered if she ever got her cat back.

My SO’s cousin used to call me and try to have phone sex with me pretending to be her. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
