Wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed, and repeat. We become corporate drones, devoting 50 weeks of the year for two weeks of vacation.
Life is full of losses and failures. It’s inevitable. We’ve all experienced the days when nothing goes our way and anything we do makes it worse.
Following the news isn’t just a waste of time, it’s slowly killing you.
There’s a lot of undue pressure today to “be original.”
The bottom line is that you are not other people.
You are the average of the five people you associate with most.
If I had my time again, knowing what I know today, I would dedicate myself to making just enough to live comfortably as quickly as I could.
Here’s my hypothesis: our generation overwhelmingly suffers from victim mentality, and it’s holding us back from truly enjoying a successful future.
Delay your college acceptance, and take a gap year. I didn’t do it myself, but it’s what I would do knowing what I know now.
