It’s a huge societal expectation to get married and have babies, enough so that all the folks in happy, committed, long term relationships get asked continually when they’ll be taking that trip down the aisle.
It’s not wrong to want something out of love that isn’t what you were taught, told, or pushed towards. It’s not wrong to want something out of love just because it’s what your parents have, what your siblings have, what your friends have.
Our judicial system is an old, lumbering dinosaur compared with how quickly our world is shifting.
