What It Will Feel Like When You Find The Love You Deserve

The love you deserve will not send you mixed signals.
Love will not take you out to dinner and have nice conversations with you ’til 5 AM only to send you home alone and never talk to you again. Love will not ignite false hopes, instead love will plant truthful hope and will commit to it. Love will not tell you bogus promises, instead love will do things you won’t even expect. Love will be clear and it won’t leave you wondering in confusion.

The love you deserve will not be hurtful at all.
Love will not leave you with scars or trauma. Love will not call you names. Love will not treat you like a piece of crap. Love will not be immature and childish. Love will not leave you crying yourself to sleep, feeling sorry about yourself. Love will not walk away from you in the midst of a heated conversation. Because this time, love comes with different intentions.

The love you deserve will not be brimming with uncertainties. Love knows who it wanted and why. Love will be sure, sure of you.

The love you deserve will not make you feel bad about yourself.
Love will not belittle you. Love will not judge you or your past. Instead love will accept you, love will embrace all your glitches and shortcomings. Love will accept you despite of your cracks. Love will recognize your issues and will listen to your anxieties and every single thing that goes on in your head – all your sentiments, worries and fears – and love will be eager to hear every single one of them. Love will never make you question if you’ll ever be good enough because love assures you that you are. Love will never make you feel like you have to round out your edges in order to fit them flawlessly. Love will not be something you have to please.

The love you deserve will stare at you as if you’re a masterpiece, as if your flaws didn’t make you any less beautiful, as if it make you even more stunning.

The love you deserve will meet you halfway.
Love will extend its hand and reach out to you. Love will exert effort, and it’s more than just opening doors, bringing you cakes – love will go the extra mile. Love will do things even though it wasn’t conducive, even though there’s nothing in it for love. Love will look at you with gentleness in its eyes, with concern in its hands. Love will hold you with responsibility, love will handle your whole heart with caution.

The love you deserve will be honest with you.
Love will not kiss you with sweet talks and void words. When there is something wrong, love will allot time to fix it. Love will be willing to communicate with patience. Love will apologize when it’s their fault and sometimes even when it’s not, love will always be willing to mend the wrongs.

The love you deserve will prioritize you. Love will not be selfish and will put your needs above theirs.

The love you deserve will respect you one hundred percent.
All your ideas, beliefs, attributes, plans and aspirations. Love will always see the best in you. Love will welcome you with open arms and will caress your finest parts and your bleak parts even more. Love will not discourage you, your dreams or wishful thinkings. Love will support you all out in whatever you yearn to do, love will motivate you and will perpetually whisper in your ear that you can be the person you’ve always longed to be.

The love you deserve will be striking in its simplicity and it will find you. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
