If you’d like to seamlessly transition between most of the past year’s radio pop hits in one big, pumping megamix, now you have that covered. DJ Daniel Kim has debuted the third installment in his Pop Danthology series, which mixes together 50+ pop songs and their corresponding music videos. Posted Sunday on YouTube, it’s already approaching 3 million views.

My favorite moment, I think, is a mix of Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” into a blend of Ne-Yo “Let me Love You” and Demi Lovato’s “Give Your Heart A Break.” Pretty emotive stuff, guys.

This video is a nice reminder of the mood-altering effect of pop and dance music, no matter how lyrically banal or mindlessly catchy. It was also a reminder that I don’t really like “Gangnam Style.”

Another thing: where will I be New Year’s Eve and what will music be playing?
