After Piers Morgan’s Dumbass Tweets To JK Rowling This Bookstore Gave The Perfect Response
If you haven’t heard about JK Rowling’s battle against evil, you’ve either been living under a rock or have finally done what we’ve all been tempted to do and completely cut yourself off from all social media and news outlets. If so, here’s the recap: much like her heroic young protagonist in the Harry Potter series, Rowling has taken on the alt-right trolls of the world via Twitter. Most recently, she’s gone head-to-head with British television personality Piers Morgan.
Yes, watching Piers Morgan being told to fuck off on live TV is *exactly* as satisfying as I'd always imagined. https://t.co/4FII8sYmIt

After Morgan tweeted that he would never read a Harry Potter book, one bookstore in North London decided to clap back in the most epic way possible: by quoting the entire first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, one tweet at a time.
.@piersmorgan Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say
that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.— Big Green Bookshop (@Biggreenbooks) February 11, 2017
Yes, you read that right. One. Tweet. At. A. Time.
.@piersmorgan They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious..2/32567

By the second tweet, we all knew it was about to get real.
The bookstore even opted to add their own commentary to spice up the narrative and let Morgan know exactly what he had coming.
.@piersmorgan In fact, it was nearly midnight before the cat moved at all. 124/32567
Midnight, Piers! Imagine that.

And I'm still not reading it. https://t.co/P57rZUS0Ql

Morgan wasn’t particularly impressed by the display of Harry Potter love, but that didn’t deter whatever wonderful being ran the bookstore’s Twitter account. It took nearly 48 hours, but they did it: Big Green Bookshop just made reading cool again.
.@piersmorgan Well Piers, that's chapter one. Pretty fucking ace, innit?

Yep, pretty fucking ace, Big Green Bookshop.
