Forest Fire, a Brooklyn band, play a kind of disembodied folk, which isn’t served by the mix so much as it is magnified, achieving dimensional violence. Lead singer Mark Thresher ambles softly around, compliments the crowd intimately (“I just came all over everything,” addressing his accumulation of sweat), seems to disappear in the size and depth of things.
