You Are Made Entirely Of Flaws And That’s What Makes You Beautiful

Your ‘flaws’ are simply part of you, they make you unique and they make you beautiful.

Don’t ever allow someone the power to make you feel weak because they might not like one of your qualities. Don’t ever allow someone to make you feel bad because you don’t have powder covering up your face or you ran out of time to fill your eyebrows in or you simply just don’t care to do your makeup. Don’t ever allow anyone to make you feel ugly because you have acne on your face or because you have a few crooked teeth. Don’t ever allow someone to make you feel bad about your weight just because your thighs jiggle when you walk and your belly is always full.

Don’t ever allow someone to make you feel inferior.

Your flaws aren’t really your flaws; they are simply a part of who you are. They do not define you. They do not make you any less lovable; they do not make you any less kind or any less intelligent. They do not limit your ability to become strong and empowering, they do not limit your chances at success or make you worthless.

We’re all humans, we’re all made entirely of flaws, and we’re all compiled together with good intentions and a better heart.

To want to shame your flaws would be to shame part of yourself, sometimes loving yourself can be challenging, there are days where you might not want to look in a mirror because you don’t feel pretty enough. There are days you might not want throw every body positivity ad out the window because you don’t feel proud of who you are. There are days where things are tough mentally, days you don’t feel good enough or strong enough or healthy enough, but just like those days come they will also pass.

Just because someone is attractive does not mean to they are a good person by any means and vice versa.

You owe it to yourself to love your flaws, to appreciate your flaws, to accept your flaws for making you into the person you are today.

The world is not perfect, it is filled with diversity and the most beautiful thing in this world is diversity; never try to change that. Flaws make each person unique and different and interesting, that’s what makes this world so damn beautiful.

Your flaws are probably not flaws to the rest of the world, they are just part of who you are. They are the reason that people love you, and when in doubt think of all the people who do love you for you, despite all your flaws.

What you think of as a flaw might be the reason someone fell in love with you in the first place.

In order to love someone you have to fall for not only their strengths, but also their weaknesses.

Love is imperfect, love is flawed and love is real, just like you.

You can still be perfect in your own way, despite being completely imperfect.

Never let your flaws define you; instead accept them as part of you because darling – we are all flawed, every single one of us on this earth. The living are assembled entirely of nothing but flaws and that itself is beautiful. Thought Catalog Logo Mark
