Bio

Julie McAlpin grew up in Mathiston, MS and now lives in Washington, DC, where she works as a social media writer and Communication Liaison. She left Mississippi at the age of 24 to work on cruise ships and to collect more life experiences. As a child, she was greatly moved by writers like Lois Lowry and Lynn Reid Banks. She began writing around the age of six and has a passion for the great outdoors.
