Bio

David Maryasin is a freelance writer, editor, poet, and globetrotter based out of Queens, NY. If it weren’t for Nixon and Brezhnev’s relationship during the US-USSR period of “détente,” when border restrictions were loosened, my parents would have never been two Ukrainian immigrants who met in central Queens, and I would never have been born. I am the by-product of a friendship between two violent, egomaniacal, and insane men—but I still think I’m an alright dude though?
