Christina Martinez

Bio

Christina was born-and-raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and spent the last 7 years in Echo Park before relocating to the Bay Area to finish her BA in Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley. She blogs regularly for the art+design collective Blood is the New Black, is the Senior editor of Blood is the New Black Magazine, and a newly minted contributor to ArtSlant. Christina recently wrote and directed a music video for the LA-based pop band Superhumanoids. This is her first foray into film and she is super excited to do it again.
