16 Desires I Hope I Always Have

By

I truly believe that as a young person, we have all kinds of hopes, dreams and desires. Some of the dreams we have disappear with time, and maybe others turn into a reality. While certain people are able to keep a positivity and playfulness, others let life break them down. I see so many people (with time) get so caught up in their work or stress of everyday life to a point that they no longer have any desires any more. Too many people would rather spend their minimal free time on the couch, watching TV with a bowl of ice cream, rather than go out and do something fun or meaningful. While I can get lazy at times, I hope I always keep my desire to do certain things. Here are a few (simple) desires I hope I ALWAYS have the desire to do.

1. I always want to have the desire to… take time to watch the sunrise or sunset.

2. I always want to have the desire to… run and play and laugh like I’m a child.

3. I always want to have the desire to… skinny dip with you under the full moon in the clear blue waters in the middle of the night.

4. I always want to have the desire to… take a leisurely walk to the park.

5. I always want to have the desire to… stay up all night talking to you, excitedly.

6. I always want to have the desire to… go somewhere new, just to experience it.

7. I always want to have the desire to… make love to you multiple times a day.

8. I always want to have the desire to… do something good for the world.

9. I always want to have the desire to… climb in a tree like I’m a kid.

10. I always want to have the desire to… feel sexy, even in simplicity.

11. I always want to have the desire to… follow my dreams and intuition.

12. I always want to have the desire to… be barefoot outside so my feet can feel the earth.

13. I always want to have the desire to… stargaze in the darkest hours.

14. I always want to have the desire to… take risks, even if just for the thrill of it.

15. I always want to have the desire to… spend time alone.

16. I always want to have the desire to… want to change the world, even in a small way.
