Watch This Incredible Video Of A Thought Forming Inside A Brain

A team of Japanese researchers have captured footage of a thought forming in the head of a zebrafish. They’ve only done this with the fish so far, but they are working to see other animals’ thoughts as well.
The video, via Current Biology, utilizes a new technique: a super-sensitive fluorescent probe that detects neuron activity. So you can see the neuronal response of the fish to the sight of its prey. Basically you’re seeing a zebrafish think “HUNGRY FOOD WANT.” It’s a thought to which I can relate.
