Here’s The Latest Track From Kitty Pryde

The first time I heard about Kitty Pryde was about two years ago. We were both part of some secret Facebook group of musicians based in Florida. It’s funny because even then, and even in the micro-context of that group, she was a star. Everyone knew it. Girl was magic — creating strangely poetic, raw rap songs about… well, being a girl, on top of stolen ambient hip-hop beats in her closet using just her MacBook. It was only a matter of time before the rest of the world found out about her. And they did. It’s been a trip watching my friend, this little girl from Florida, taking over the internet and at the same time becoming one of my favorite rappers.
For all the haters out there, this redheaded girl with this flow and these beats will win the internet and maybe even the world.
Check out her new Hot Sugar produced track, “Ay Shawty,” from her forthcoming E.P. “Daisy R.A.G.E” featuring Lakutis and tell me you didn’t have a good time.
