Yesterday, a short film surfaced entitled “Fashion Film” and starring Lizzy Caplan (of Party Down (RIP), Freaks and Geeks (RIP), Mean Girls, and my dreams). It has a tongue-in-cheek, self-loathing voiceover that mocks the beautiful, twee, indie-tastic visuals onscreen, and gets very meta at the end, acknowledging that this is actually what it looks like, a commercial for a cool clothing company, albeit a very self-aware one.
