Lincoln, the car company, hired Beck to reinterpret David Bowie’s classic song, “Sound and Vision,” and reinterpret it he did, enlisting, per Pitchfork:
the Dap-Kings, a string orchestra, a gamelan ensemble, members of the USC marching band, a Peruvian charango group, choirs, guitarists, a musical saw player, a harpist, and a theremin player.
It’s always important to remember the theremin player.
