This is a cartoon that my best friend made for Thought Catalog, using actual text messages from her seven-year-long, deeply committed relationship, in which she made vows to honor and to cherish a single man for the rest of her life. (She got married to the guy, in other words.) Here is the cartoon, which, as mentioned, uses actual dialogue from later on in their marriage:
