Quiz: Is This An Adorable Picture Of A Kitten Or A Racist Tweet About Obama?

Guys, racism can be really hard to spot sometimes, and racism can be super-secretive, like “flesh”-colored band-aids or your sweet-looking old grandma. For instance, racism can be like turning on 2 Broke Girls hoping to see the struggles of two girls trying to make it in “the big city,” but then you get Long-Duk-Donged by Whitney Cummings and Michael Patrick King. Trust me, it happens to all of us.

And sometimes you’re on Twitter, and following a guy who insists that his “off-color” remarks about Obama are just delightfully un-PC and NOT RACIST AT ALL. He’s not racist. It’s just freedom of speech. America!

Modern life means all these minorities, womenfolk and gays (oh my!) running around and wanting rights and stuff. I’ve seen Crash. Modernity is difficult and structural oppression is, like, totally confusing. This quiz will help prepare you for the challenges of knowing whether you or someone around you is being racist by asking you to determine whether something is an adorable picture of a kitten (aww!) or a racist tweet about Obama. The answers might surprise you!

So, next time you or someone you know is about to call Obama a %#%$% or a ^(#^(@#@,&#* you won’t be able to say we didn’t warn you.
