Yet Another Amazing Timelapse, This One In Norway

I am Brandon Scott Gorrell and I am pumped!!!

From the same videographer, Terje Sorgjerd, that brought us other stunning timelapse videos of nature, this bliss-inducing timelapse features locations throughout Norway’s archipelago Lofoten. The phenomenon here seen is what Sorgjerd calls “Arctic Light” – the period of time during which there is hardly any night to speak of. From his vimeo page:

The Sunset and Sunrise are connected in one magnificent show of color and light lasting from 8 to 12 hours. The sun is barely going below the horizon before coming up again. This is the most colorful light that I know, and the main reason I have been going up there for the last 4 years, at the exact same time of year, to photograph.
