Watch Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel Completely Misunderstand the Concept of "The Internet" in 1994

In 1994, mainstream America was, at best, online via a 56k dial-up modem and AOL or Prodigy. Today Show hosts Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric were no exception. Watch them fumble over how to say out loud the “@” sign (Couric thought the symbol either meant “about” or “around”) and genuinely wonder, “What is the internet anyway??” TC mark

Katie Couric couldn't understand the concept of 'wireless'. Although, wasn't she correct? There was no wireless internet in 1994?
