This Version of Home Alone is Much More Realistic
This version of Home Alone by Freddie Wong & Brandon Laatsch represents a much more realistic interpretation of the types of pranks you’d actually play if you were expecting armed robbers on a specific day at a specific time (if you were like, really going to play pranks on violent home intruders that might possibly kill your kids/ rape your wife). And it manages to do so while keeping its sense of humor. Still – not sure if anything can beat the original – especially given that one scene where Kevin makes it look like a bunch of mannequins are partying to “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree.”
